Your child will have the opportunity to experience a range of activities which meet all key areas of the National Curriculum with the focus on literacy, numeracy and health and well being.  They will be introduced to early reading, writing, maths and science skills as well as other activities such as creative play, music, drama, arts & crafts, baking and storytelling.

These activities are delivered in a fun, relaxed manner allowing all children to learn naturally through active play and investigation. Each child is encouraged to learn at their own pace within their own capabilities.

The Nursery works in partnership with the Local Authority and follows the Curriculum for Excellence when providing 1140 hours of early years care and education to help the children prepare for the change they will experience as they move from nursery to primary school.

Where children would benefit from additional support we will work with parents to put GIRFEC plans into place to support their development and learning.
