Staff Team

The Practitioners at our nursery are a very important part of our success and this is reflected in the excellent feedback we get from parents. All staff are qualified and experienced in providing the highest standards of care and education for each and every child  and we place a great emphasis on continuous training including first aid; food hygiene; child protection and curriculum development.

Lisa McNaught
Manager: BA

Lisa is the nursery Manager and has been part of Children’s Hour since it first opened. She has worked hard to gain her BA Childhood Practice Degree to ensure the highest levels of care and learning at Children’s Hour. Lisa is a mum to three children and in her spare time likes to watch her sons play football and spend time with family.

Coleen Elliott
Depute: PDA

Coleen is the nursery Depute and has been part of the nursery team for 8 years. Coleen works within the Clever Cookie playroom and has the additional responsibilities of Forest Schools and Eco Schools Coordinator.

Katie McOmish
Practitioner: SVQ Level 3

Katie has worked at Children’s Hour nursery for 11 years within the Clever Cookie playroom alongside children aged 3-5 years old. She is involved in the transition process between school and nursery, preparing children for their exciting journey ahead. She likes being outdoors and going on long walks.

Kerry Brown
Practitioner: HNC

Kerry is a nursery Senior and has worked at Children’s Hour for 3 years in the Busy Bumblebee playroom. Kerry is also our designated Health and Safety Officer at the nursery. She likes to keep active by spending time outdoors with her two children and exploring new places.
