Our Busy Bumblebee Playroom (6 weeks to 30 months) is welcoming, safe and secure, with a large open plan playroom which provides a wide variety of activities and resources available for enjoyment and development.

On joining the Nursery your Keyworker will manage the settling in process and find out all they can about the routine and individual needs of your child to support our 'home from home' philosophy. Staff work closely with parents to actively involve them in planning a wide range of creative and stimulating play to develop children's learning.

The Pre Birth to 3 Years framework looks at the principles of Relationships, Respect, Responsive Care  and Rights of the Child; ensuring that the care and support we provide is very much child centred and provides the emotional stability necessary to allow your child to develop a strong foundation. 

Activities are planned to arouse and encourage each child’s curiosity and interests; for example by playing with basic materials, shapes and colours; through a wide range of physical activities, both inside and outdoors, using toys, music and movement, construction and sensory equipment,  helping children become more confident. 

The staff enjoy taking the babies out in the garden daily and for walks on regular occasions to get as much fresh air as possible; using our special 'waterproof play suits' which keep children warm and dry!

Your Keyworker will provide a Daily Diary for you at the end of each day, giving you personal information about the feeding, changing and sleep play patterns of your child at the nursery that day.
